
We built our garden heaters for one simple reason: to blast real, focused heat into outdoor spots where regular heaters just throw their hands up and quit. The heart of it is a high-output halogen lamp. It’s tough enough to shrug off the weather, and it throws warmth exactly where you need it—instantly. Here’s the power and size story, in plain terms. These heaters run on 400V and 2500W. That’s how we pack so much heat into a compact 300mm tube. The voltage also keeps things efficient, even when the wiring has to stretch across a larger outdoor space. And that 300mm length? It’s just right. Big enough to hold the filament and quartz envelope, but small enough to slip into tight spots without taking over the whole mounting area. Now, what’s going on inside. The core uses a halogen element inside a quartz tube. This combo handles sudden temperature swings without blinking, and it keeps putting out steady heat for thousands of hours. The halogen cycle keeps the element clean, so you don’t get that blackening that kills performance over time. We also chose an R7s connector because it handles high current and locks in securely. That means you can wire it up fast and service it later without fighting a maze of terminal blocks. So where does this all come together? Outdoors. Because wind and cold drain heat in a hurry, we built this configuration to fight back. The shortwave infrared warmth goes straight to people and surfaces—not into warming the empty air around them. Just one thing to keep in mind: with this kind of heat density, you need proper ventilation and cooling around the mounting area to keep temperatures in check. The payoff is simple: a rugged, drop-in solution that gives you dependable heat, right where you want it, when you want it.
