The Power Behind the Heat
Let’s get into the guts of it. This heater runs on 400V, pulling the kind of power needed to hit a hefty 2500W. That voltage rating is a smart move, too—it means you can plug it straight into your standard industrial power supply. No need to mess around with extra transformers. As for its size, the 300mm tube length isn’t by accident. It’s the perfect balance: just enough surface area to crank out the heat you need, but still compact enough to fit neatly onto your machine.
What’s Inside? A Closer Look
Inside that quartz tube, the halogen element is the workhorse, delivering a steady, powerful stream of infrared heat. To keep it tough, we coat the tube with a special layer that shrugs off extreme temperature swings and resists harsh chemicals in the environment. And for the connection, it uses the standard R7s connector. It’s built to handle the high current safely, making the whole thing a simple, drop-in replacement when you need it.
Where It Shines—And What to Watch For
This setup is a natural fit for jobs like PET blowing, where you have to heat a preform fast and evenly. That high heat density is the real advantage here. But here’s the thing to keep in mind: packing all that power into a 300mm tube creates a lot of localized heat. So, your machine’s cooling system needs to be up to the task. It has to be able to manage that extra thermal load, or you risk overheating the parts around it.
